Chris couldn't help it, seeing her darling girlfriend in tears made him weak and he also started crying, he last cried back when he was 6 years old after the assassination of his family. While Chris was comforting Emily , the police arrived, and they told Emily's mother they have found the person who killed her husband. Everyone rushed to the police to find out who killed Emily's Father.

Everyone was shocked after the police revealed who killed MR Cyrus, Emily didn't want to believe them at first, but when the police told her the gun that was used to kill her father was found in Chris's bag, she turned around and asked Chris if what the police had said was true. Chris couldn't speak, his lips were moving, but words didn't came out. Emily just froze, when Chris hold her hand, her sadness became anger, and gave Chris a huge slap. Chris kept on trying to reason with everyone and pleaded his innocent, but the Cyrus family just asked the police to take him away.

After his trial, he was taken to prison to serve a five year sentence. At the prison his best friend Mark visited him along his assistant, they told him the truth about his arrest. Mark told him he was the one who was stalking him. Chris told Mark everything, he never hidden anything from him, Mark knew where Chris will be, at what time, and who was he going meet, and talk about. He told him about the gun in a cab, he told him that the gun was just waiting for him, the cab he took was waiting for him too, to come out of the house and rushed to him, and at the office Jennifer spiked his coffee, and that's how Chris passed out on his desk, and he didn't notice he signed his shares over to Mark.

 After they have left, Chris promised him self that after he has gotten out of prison, his going to get everything he owned back no matter what.

Two months after Vusi had renovated the house with the money he made from his chicken farm, and the one he took from his older son Khethelo, Jabulani decided to take away everything Vusi had. He could not bear Vusi being praised and respected much more than him. Jabulani decided to first use his own daughter to take away Vusi’s respect. Jabulani did not care about anyone.
